– Food rich with fibers, nuts for example, prevents the absorption of certain medications for thyroid gland.
– Grapefruit juice increases the level of medications for lowering cholesterol, which in turn can cause side effects, such as leg pain. Grapefruit should also be avoided if you are taking medications for high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythm or anxiety.
